Thorleif Linhave Bamle has a Bachelor degree in Theatre science from the University of Bergen. Under the international acclaimed professor Knut Ove Arntzen and with additional studies in psychology, literature and sociology he has acquired a broad and solid theoretical education.
As theatre director Thorleif Linhave Bamle has acquired his knowledge by serving an apprenticeship under international acclaimed directors such as Bjørn Melander and Jo Strømgren. He has staged critical acclaimed productions such as; One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kessey (2002), The Trial by Kafka (2004), Blasted by Sarah Kane (2005), Ladybird by Sigarev (2007) and Plasticin by Sigarev (2009). All staged in Bergen. He has also staged several productions as a freelancer, amongst them Peer Gynt by Ibsen.
