We bring you more news from the 19th year of the largest theatre festival in Slovakia - Divadelná Nitra International Festival. In these days a booklet is issued bringing you the basic information on the main programme productions. From the booklet you may learn that the festival is to be held only four days this year instead of six (we had to shorten it owing to financial reasons), yet it will be stuffed by top- quality authorial theatre productions from abroad and the most interesting works of Slovak alternative scene. The Festival Plus offers an excursion to see opera, the atmosphere is completed by the award giving ceremony presenting the latest season prizes called the BOARDS AWARDS, morning discussions with the artists (all the directors will be present) as well as afternoon street performances and a film. The common leitmotif is out of normal because the festival productions bring testimony of the unusual and disturbing phenomena, people derailed or expelled from their world. Loneliness, anomaly, but also exceptionality and uniqueness.
